THE CAPACITY FOR SPIRITUAL DESIRES COMES FROM “WITHIN” GOD and GALATIANS 5:16-18,22-25

1 GALATIANS 5:16 KJV-I say then Walk in the Spirit and ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh.

GALATIANS 5:17 TLV-For the flesh sets its desire against the Ruach, but the Ruach sets its desire against the flesh-for these are in opposition to one another, so that you cannot do what you want.

GALATIANS 5:18 -Since you are led by the Spirit, you are not under the law.

GALATIANS 5:22-23 NIV-But the fruit of the Spirit is Love, Joy, Peace, Forbearance, Kindness, Goodness, Faithfulness, Gentleness and Self-control. Against such things there is no law.

GALATIANS 5:24 AMP-And those who belong to Christ Jesus have crucified the sinful nature together with its passions and appetites.

GALATIANS 5:25 NIV-Since we Live by the Spirit, let us keep in step with the Spirit.

VERSE 16: When you Live by the Spirit, in conscious awareness you no longer try to Live the nature of God by the efforts of the unrepentant mind. [Matthew 4:17]

VERSE 17: Because the Spirit’s appetites are against the sinful nature, the sinful nature cannot do what it wants. The word “but” denotes that what the Spirit wants overrides what the sinful nature wants. [Hebrews 9:14(NIV)]

VERSE 18: Those led by the Spirit no longer have a veil over their understanding of God’s nature. [Romans 7; 2 Corinthians 4:3-4; 2 Corinthians 3:14-17(NIV); 1 Corinthians 2:14; Ephesians 4:18-21(NIV); John 6:44-45]

VERSES 22-25: Rather their natural state in the Spirit is and behaves God’s nature, because their Life is the Holy Spirit of God. Being consciously aware of this, they move and develop at the rate and rhythm of the Holy Spirit in agreement with and conformity to the nature of God. This is accomplished by the power of the Spirit, Who is their Life, alone. The unrepentant mind and its desires are gone and the mind is healed and renewed (made perfect in Love 1 John 4:13,15-19) by the Holy Spirit of God. [Romans 8:3-4; Romans 12:2]

THE CORRELATION BETWEEN CHAPTER ONE AND THESE VERSES:

“desiring more revelation of God’s desires within your Spirit, moment by moment, is your daily prayer request and meditation.” [Your Eternal Appetites IN Christ workbook #4, Chapter One Page 15] These verses above show that you can desire, behave and manifest God’s desires now in your earth suit. The flesh has no authority or ability to stop this, because the desires of God’s Spirit are against the desires of the flesh. When you became one with God’s Spirit your fleshly, unrepentant mind’s desires were crucified and eradicated.[Galatians 5:24; Romans 8:3-4] They are gone, do not search for them by meditating on the I. Rather meditate on the I Am [Psalm 77:12-14; Philippians 4:7-9; Romans 12:1-2] and fulfill the desires of the Spirit. The I Am knows the solution for the moment, and the way to manifest it in the earth. Your Father in heaven will meet all physical needs.
